Work / Curved bar counter, commercial fit-out
Curved bar counter, commercial fit-out

A bar front that had to come round in one continuous curve, in a room where nothing else was curved to measure it against.
Framed and clad in a long continuous curve, then tiled. The radius was set out full size on the floor first, so the front came round in one line instead of a series of flats pretending to be a curve.

What it involved
- Radius set out full size on the floor before anything was cut
- Carcass framed and clad to the curve rather than faceted
- Tiled front set out so the joints run true around the radius
- Worktop templated to the finished carcass
