Curved bar counter, commercial fit-out

Curved bar counter, commercial fit-out

A bar front that had to come round in one continuous curve, in a room where nothing else was curved to measure it against.

Framed and clad in a long continuous curve, then tiled. The radius was set out full size on the floor first, so the front came round in one line instead of a series of flats pretending to be a curve.

What it involved

  • Radius set out full size on the floor before anything was cut
  • Carcass framed and clad to the curve rather than faceted
  • Tiled front set out so the joints run true around the radius
  • Worktop templated to the finished carcass

Something like this?

Quoted on what I find in the room, in writing, fixed once you have it.
