Balustrade and floor, landing

Balustrade first, floor second — the order matters, because doing it the other way round means scribing the same line twice.
Newels, handrail and spindles fitted to the landing, then the floor laid up to the strings so nothing had to be scribed twice.

What it involved
- Newels set and handrail run to the landing
- Spindles cut and fitted at even centres
- Floor laid up to the strings once the balustrade was fixed
